Please get out the worksheet from last week: Percent Composition.  With a partner, complete both sides.  Be sure to check your formulas before calculating percent composition!  If you are already finished with the worksheet, use the time to start answering the post-lab questions from "Empirical Formula's Lab."

In Canada, gasoline is sold by the liter.  Assume that it takes 12 gallons of gasoline to fill the tank of a compact car.  How many liters of gasoline will it take?  How much will it cost if gas costs $1.039 per liter?  (1 liter = 1.0567 quarts)
